okay first off, when does batman laugh ever? let alone in CRIME ALLEY. because, as he’ll be keen to remind you, his parents are dead, and they were dead in crime alley. dead, i tell you, dead!

second, think about it. in all the darkness of his life, he’s able to laugh, period, because jason todd has balls. 

third, let’s look at jason todd here. who would try to steal tires off the batmobile? not just one, nooooo, TWO. two tires! because hey, why not? 

fourth, when coming face-to-face with the caped crusader/batman/dark knight/guy who makes grown men piss their pants/etc., all he can say is, “whoops.”

It wasn’t just Batman laughing in Crime Alley, it was Batman laughing in Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parents’ death.
